I was excited to buy this because we have the typical RV oven that burns everything. I ordered this without measuring assuming we had a standard oven because we have a Grand Design solitude, a very popular RV. However when it arrived it was too long. I kept it a little too long so couldn’t return it so we use it anyway, it sits up against the thermometer in the back and mostly covers the vent holes in the front but the side ones are mostly clear. Even with the size issue it helps a lot. We have been able to bake several things and it helps a lot.

If you have an rv oven this disperses the heat so you don’t burn anything. Works great!! We recommend it to all our friends. Unlike a pizza stone it will not break!

One star because a star is required. Very expensive item and excessively heavy. I ended up putting it in the trash because it was beyond the return date.I don't not recommend this item. I'll go back to using the pizza stone.

Received the the arven rv oven diffuser yesterday and seasoned as per instructions my wife fixed biscuits this morning and they were perfect I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that owns a rv and cooks on their stove.

We are new to RV life and I’ve been having hell trying to bake in the rv oven, everything got burned no matter what I tried. I put a pizza stone in there, a cookie sheet, etc. I found this heat diffuser on amazon and omg, I made bread and pizza and it was perfectly cooked, not burned at all!!

I read about this item in one of the RV forums I am in. It said you could bake biscuits in your RV oven without burning them. If you have ever tried to bake ANYTHING in your RV oven, then you know how hard it is to not burn the bottom of the item you are baking. This steel plate fits in your RV oven and works exactly as described. You do have to season the plate before using, and it comes with easy to follow instructions on how to do this. If you are conscious of how much weight that goes into your RV, then you might want to weigh this hefty item so you can trim some weight from something else in your camper. This plate is heavy and it is really the only flaw it has. Plan ahead with baking because it does take longer to bake items using this plate, but who is in a hurry when your camping. If you purchase this item, you should never burn your biscuits, cookies, or brownies again in your RV oven unless you forget to set your timer. It is a must have for the RV. I was quite impressed with the simplicity of the item, but it definitely works. I highly recommend and I would purchase again, but I think this thing will last as long as I or my RV does. I live in a RV full time. Not being able to use the over without burning the meal in the middle and having the top not cooked at all, was unacceptable to me. I cook most of my meals in the over. I was so upset over not being able cook that I considered selling my home. I know an option could be to get a counter oven type contraption but there is no room for that. I belong to a woman's rv on Facebook. One lady raved about this product and she sent us the link. I am a very optimistic person. So I drove in and ordered off of Amazon.I read the instructions a couple of times but I was still unclear about which oil to use. I was a little disappointed, because I wanted to cook my favorite pizza, (Home Run Inn... it comes straight from Chicago). It was late Sunday evening so I decided to send them a message. I was hoping to receive a response on Monday, I really wanted to cook my pizza. I was flipping through my phone, and much to my surprise the company responded, again i mention, it was LATE Sunday night. They answered my question concerning using a different oil than the ones recommended.I immediately sealed my steel. (Lol)The results.....BUY IT BUT IT. It Works PERFECTLY. Guess what, I ate my Home Run Inn Pizza late Sunday night. I am able to cook anything and everything in my oven. The big test was the biscuits. Golden in the top and bottom.
