I lived on a boat for 15 years, and had the equivalent in both my refrigerator and freezer. It moved the air around the custom spaces (no store-bought ones on most boats, particularly ones which started with iceboxes and next to no insulation!!) so that temperatures remained even.My current challenge is to keep my veggie and fruit drawers from freezing, as it seems my cold air settles and never leaves.Whisper quiet, and the tiniest of breezes, but 24/7. I hope it resolves my issue!

These aren't supposed to have a strong fan. It's just meant to keep the air in motion. A strong fan will actually make your fridge warmer. I'd been having an issue with my RV fridge. The freezer works great, but not enough of the cold air seems to make it down to the fridge part. After a lot of experimenting, I've found the best location is actually in the back of the freezer. It pushes more of the cold air down the back vents to where I need it in the fridge. I buy good batteries in bulk and only have to change them every 1-2 months.

This little fan is very quiet so far. It does not blow much air, but it still does the intended job of mixing cold air from lowest shelf with warmer air at the top shelf. I've been using it in a full sized top-freezer refrigerator for a few days. The temps were up to 5 degree from top shelf to bottom shelf. Now they are running about one degree apart.

We purchased this fan to keep air temperatures consistent throughout our RV refrigerator. After reading many reviews I selected this fan. It works as described. We no longer have hot and cold spots within the fridge and nothing froze this trip, which was a first. Temps seemed even throughout. We camped for 4 days and only used 1 set of batteries, which I thought was great. I expected to need to replace them more frequently. The fan is whisper quite and blows gently. I had to check to make sure it was still blowing. I think the gentle blowing keeps it from blowing all the cold air out of the fridge, each time the door is opened. The only downfall of this product is the battery cover is extremely difficult to open. I had read that other users had difficulty but thought they were being dramatic. I have to admit, it took the assistance of my teen daughter to hold it while I pried the cover off with two knives, whichs seems a little extreme. The second time opening it, I was able to do it alone, while prying the cover with 2 pens.Overall great product, but you may need hep to open the cover.

This unit may be fine for weeken campers. But, we are full timer RVers and tried this model to circulate the air in our fridge. We only get about 1 week from Eveready Super Heavy Duty D cell batteries. Better luck with Copper Top. They can go for almost a month.Either way, this is not an environmentally desirable option and are looking for an alternative.

This little fan did an amazing job to circulate the RV fridge cold air that was not circulating. An RV fridge does not move air around like your home fridge. This was recommended to me and worked like a charm! My food stays colder, lasts longer, and the overall interior is colder from this little guy!D battery needed...lasts about a month with all day x 7 day use.

Update.. quits working after a week with new batteries. Really not worth the $sHaven’t had my rv fridge freeze up since putting this in it. Never thought about air circulation in a refrigerator until there wasn’t any! Priced right and does the job. Worth the effort!
