This is a perfect replacement for my previous surge protector. The feature that I like most is the protective cover that keeps my power cord from getting wet. Another great feature is the circuit analyzer, which helps to identify more problems that could exist in the shore power post. The bright orange color helps when plugging in to shore power in the dark. I highly recommend.

This is one of those products that's like insurance. It's utterly, totally worthless 99.99% of the time, and just sits there (inline with your RV's power cord) gathering dust.UNTIL that big old power spike comes rolling down the power line toward your RV. Maybe lightning hit nearby, or maybe a transformer shorted out, or one of a hundred other things that can cause a voltage spike just happens in your RV's proximity.When that happens, this normally worthless device is worth its weight in gold (maybe literally if your RV is a newer one and has tons of electronics). It sucks up that power surge, taking one for the team, and protecting the electronics / appliances in your RV.In short, this is a device I've been waiting for for years, and it's now at a no-brainer price that makes it difficult to say no.
