It arrived on time . It fit perfectly. It couldn’t get any easier to install. It works wonderfully. Maybe include a little Teflon tape. Who needs a whole rolls(water and gas) for three connections.

Very pleased. I'm barely a layman and the ease of installation was impressive. Works great and should repay for itself quickly.

It works great, but one potential drawback is the wait for the hot water to make it to the tap.In an RV using waste-holding tanks, this could become an issue.Setting the temp for a shower and simply opening the hot water valve is very handy and easily repeatable.

Upgraded our Rv heater during renovation. It was The best decision to put this heater and not pay for those expensive ones! Been on a 7 day trip. This thing performs perfectly instant hot water! Great pressure for taking showers or whatever. No wait for hot water! You turn on the water, turn on the propane, turn on the water heater! Turn the faucet and boom ! I had an old somatic 6 gal water heater the hole was 1”-2” wider than this, we ribbeded metal and bondo it over sand it to make it look good. Install took my friend and I about few hours just for the outside. We then mounted the control panel inside the wire is short for any rv application but you can extent the wire easily!

I got this water heater after looking over the reviews and ratings. Everything looked great. It's been a nightmare. I have had this sience the 14th of December (it's now the 22nd). The first day I got it I pulled it out of the box and looked over the very shoty manual and instructions. This unit is rated for a 10 amp - 12V DC supply. My old water heater ran off a standard 120V AC with a dedicated 15amp breaker. Should be able to run it through a transform and get it running. I have a few with different ratings so I started with the 120V Ac input with a 12V and 24V output. Wired the heater to the 12V as that's what the manual says it runs on. Nothing turned on. Continued to step up the power but to no avail. It would not turn on. Tried all the transformers and resistors again from lowest output to a max of 48V AC but could not get it to even try to turn on. Came to the conclusion it's just a faulty unit and I need to exchange it. Contacted Amazon to find out they won't exchange it. I can process a refund for a chance to get my money back but that's not even guaranteed and can take up to 30 days after they receive it.Just tired of the cold showers and crap service. Can't find the phone number to the company anywhere in the manual or instructions either.

This is a 6 month honest review of my option of this water heater. This replaced my old 6 gal Dometic water heater which had a hole in the tank in my Grand Design Reflection fifth wheel. Install was very easy and it fit like a glove. Love how sleek and clean it is but after about 6 months of full time Rv living usage it started throwing an E8 code on the digital screen. The owners manual states that it’s a wind pressure switch failure. Couldn’t find the original OEM one anywhere so replaced the wind pressure switch with a similar one I ordered off Amazon. It made the showers a little longer lasting with hot water but will still throw the E8 code and then the water turns cold. Not sure if I got a lemmon or if this isn’t a good water heater for full time Rv life. Probably will be purchasing a better quality one like a Furrion, Rec Pro or Suburban. It’s a 50/50 shot in my opinion. I ordered it due to the great reviews but mine is no longer working and I’ve done all I know to do for it. 3 stars. Would be five it it was still functioning

Had to build down our opening with insulating foam board, then shorten our gas line and re-direct our pex. The prep was a pain in the butt, it's not the water hearers fault though. Once we were ready, the water heater was as easy as turning it on. Worked right away. We had low water pressure due to sediment (calcium) plugging our rv water pressure regulator, ended up using a manual dial garden shut off to reduce the amount of water to regulate the pressure. Once that was fixed we had hot water perfectly throughout the trailer. Flawless, hopefully it does well in the winter.
