Rx Clear Patriot Sand Filter System
The Rx Clear Patriot Sand Filter is designed to handle the filtration needs of many of today's pools. It provides an efficient, easy to use, simple to install and operate system that will keep pool water clean and sparkling. The core of these systems is the one-piece blow-molded tank that sits atop a universal base that accepts most pumps. Includes a top mount, 6-position multi-port valve and has a high capacity sand bed to catch more debris and extends filter cycles.

This filtration system is perfect for above ground swimming pools up to 15,000 gallons. This all-in-one pump & filter is designed to work in conjunction to streamline performance.
A Replacement for Sand
Rx Clear Luster Filter Media is designed to be an alternative to pool filter sand for pool filters. One box of filter media (1.5 lbs) equals 50 lbs of sand.
Rx Clear Luster Filter Media
Unlike sand, Luster Balls won’t clog your filter and will require less backwashing for maintenance purposes. Perfect replacement for sand filter sand, filter glass and other glass media.

I had a few problems with parts for the pump and hoses but I connected the vendor and received a response quickly and they resolved the problem by sending me replacement parts.

This pump is a rip off. Worked for one month and leaks badly. Don’t buy this pump they will not make it right .save your money and go somewhere else. We are very Unsatisfied with this. Bought it around June 24 of 2024 and as of July 13 it leaks so bad we have to unplug it

Not a bad setup, need time and patience, expect challenges hooking up to pool. Use a skimmer to help keep up with leaves, use directional outflow to keep pool clear. Been using for the season and never had a problem.Note: use the largest extension cord possible if your pool is not close to a power source.

Assembly was surprisingly easy. I’d watched multiple YouTube vids on how to assemble and I’m not gonna lie, I was intimidated because I’d never done this before. But once I started I realized the manufacturer had pre-assembled the tricky parts so no worries. It goes smoothly. But extra plumbers tape though and use it on all threads even for the pressure gauge so you don’t have any leaks. The pump is much stronger than my previous 1.5 hp one and the filter is HUGE compared to the one that came with my pool. So this was definitely an upgrade. I don’t need to vacuum as much and that’s amazing! P.S. I don’t know if sand is all of a sudden expensive in your area but I’m just outside Phila PA and prices are insane especially with delivery as nobody has sand in stock. The only place I could get a good price and free delivery was ACE Hardware store. Just FYI. Hope this helps!

Honestly should have just paid the extra for an intex replacement pump. Arrived improperly assembled with the o-ring between the two halves of the impeller housing pinched and leaking. The "universal" hose adapters are a huge flow restriction and required modification to improve the flow rate. If you are not mechanically inclined do not attempt this purchase.....and if you are mechanical spend the extra and save the aggravation.

My system was hit by lightening. This one, even though much smaller, is more than adequate for my pool. Prompt delivery.
