I have a plastic welding tool, so it's good to have lots of these connectors for whatever purpose I might need. This has lots of types for different needs. Fits the bill.

After ordering thousands of staples from numerous companies, I have finally found the perfect plastic welding staple. All of the previous staples would leave sharp points on the ends. Even with flush cutters and snips, I couldn't get them flush. I would have to put hot glue or melt plastic over the staple edges. When I saw that this kit came with notches cut into the staples, I had to try them. I tested these out on an old umbrella stand I wanted to mount to a paver. The staples heat up quickly and easily melt into place. After setting the staple where I needed it, I wiggled the tabs back and forth a couple of times, and they snapped at the notch. This left a nice flat, clean surface area. No more extra steps trying to cover the sharp ends. No more cutting myself on the old staples that would poke through the plastic. I will never use a staple that doesn't have notches again. This kit also came with some plastic strips. I will be using some of the strips to cover up old welds that I made in the past where the staples are poking through. I highly recommend this set.

I was running low on staples for repair projects. This kit has a nice selection of different types of staples for most any repair job. The staples are good quality and work just like they are supposed to. There are a lot of them so it should keep me going for a good while. the TPO sticks work well. They melt and spread easily.

RX WELD 3000pcs Plastic Welding Staples, 20pcs Plastic Welder Rods(TPO TEO PP), Hot Staples Kit Repair for Car Bumpers, Kayaks, Plastic Buckets, Plastic Toys, Plastic DIY, Etc.There are 6 different types of staples, two 0.6mm and four 0.8mm. Each type come separated in ziplok type bags in a cardboard box.I never thought about this until I opened the box. There is a strong smell of machine oil, could be to prevent rust on the parts or could be to lubricate machinery and parts during manufacture. I always assumed if these were meant to mend all sorts of plastic including outdoor plastics and canoes etc. They should be stainless steel.I went back to the listing and listings of other hot staples I have purchased in the past and no listing stated the type of steel the staples were made of. After some thought I reached for my magnet and tested these, they have zero attraction to my magnet so I can assume they are stainless steel and will not rust.These are a good value for a lifetime (hobby/amateur) supply.Thank you for reading my review and looking at my photos of this product. I won't be running out of these for a while as the box has 3,000 staples for my hot stapler. It comes with all the various shapes and has the break off area to make quick work of your repair. And as a bonus you get some bland and white plastic welding rods if you have the hot air tool to melt them. A great package for the handyman around the house. Many uses and will last a long time.

This kit came with 6 different type staples at 500 pcs. for each type for a total of 3000 pcs.. There is no storage container provided with this kit.The first staples I tried out of this kit was the 0.6m Flat staple. The first one heated up very quickly and when I inserted it into the plastic, it bent over as well as the second staple I inserted too. I have never had this happen before. I don’t know if the first two was just a fluke or what. The rest I tried worked fine with no further problems.The next staples I used was the 0.8mm Wave staple. These all worked well with no problems at all.I also tried out the welding rods and they performed well. I would say they are on par with similar welding rods out there.

I love fixing things with my plastic welder. So far all the 3rd party brand staples have worked/fit in it, and these are no exception. This is the first kit I've used that had a variety of the wave/squiggle shaped staples. It's nice to have some that are bigger/larger than others, since sometimes you can't fit the full shaped wave in tight spots.This is a great deal since it comes with some plastic welding rods as well, because the samples that come with your plastic welder will get used up.
