Product no good didn’t work,lost investment and money

I had to talk my car mechanic into installing this compressor. The car is already 7 years old, and he wanted to put a top-of-the-line, after-market, more expensive by hundreds of $$ into his compressor. The reason was that these mystery compressors fail and then what? I said that Amazon offers a three warranty for little $$ and the car was already old. That was 6 months ago, and the AC is still throwing ice cubes at me.
