I intended to gift this for an 8 yr old's birthday. I chose this set because of the little canvases with pictures. Upon inspection, the rest of the kit and the box just seemed too cheap and Amazon-ish, and some of the paint appeared dried out. I returned it and just made a little gift basket from better quality things from Michaels.

Was a hit at my daughter’s birthday sleepover. Small enough to complete in a reasonable time so the kids didn’t lose interest and the paints were easy to open (usually these containers are a hassle to open). Good variety of pictures to choose from and just like advertised.

My daughter loves this little set. She has all the paint colors, adorable canvases, and the pallet to spread the paint out. This is so fun! This will be a future gift for little friends. A great set for the little artist!

The set is nice. Packaged well. Very giftable. Great choice of colors. It's nice to have a selection of brushes.Be aware the canvases are very small. So the areas to paint and numbers are very small. This can be a fun challenge for kids with good hand eye coordination who enjoy detail work. It can be very frustrating for kids who might not be at that level.With all the colors, it isn't realistic to do it all in one sitting really well. There needs to be some dry down time of it can bleed or smudge. Again, some children will like this aspect and some will not.The little easels are cute for display.. not really functional while painting. The paints clean easily with water. It is a fun project for the right temperament and ability level.
