3/4", or 0.750" if you prefer, is what is advertised.Bought an AXA 11 piece set which included a 3/4" holder for a boring bar.Get this FINE piece of apparent chinese crap, and it measured 0.785" all along the shaft and no way would fit into the holder.Thankfully, I was able to chuck it up in my lathe and turn it down so it'd fit.Measured SEVERAL areas of the rod, and have yet to find one that is correctly sized as advertised.Apparently Quality Control was asleep or had their mask over their eyes the day this part was made.
