It works great for all intents and purposes, but wish it were made to look more like a wireless camera...Arlos or alike. It's been on at night for 2 weeks and the batteries are still going, so I'm happy about that.

I got this Fake Outdoor Security Camera with Night Senor, for one side of our house. This camera was easy to install but it's a fake. It looks real for far away but won't fool anyone from nearby. It's a decent fake but it won't go very far. It's very cheap so keep that in mind.

It moves all the time outside with the slightest wind. The lights don’t stay on no matter how many times I change the batteries. I would not recommend this product.

Though I haven't run into issues of someone stealing my packages, I just feel it might be a good idea to put something in front door area to discourage such theft activities.For that reason, I am getting this fake security camera for installing at the front door side. This security camera is smaller than those installed in commercial areas. I would expect it to be a little bigger to make it more visible. It also does not have the shinning "silver grey metal" color that I would like to see, which is more close to those security cameras installed in commercial buildings.Powered by 2 AAA batteries, the built-in ambient light sensor can sense the surrounding light condition. When at dark, it mimics the real security camera and gives out steady red light (like infrared light). During day time, there is no RED light coming out of it.Well, I would prefer it has one LED blinking light running the whole time, day and night. I just feel the "LED blinking" action makes people the unit is really "working".All in all, I am not too impressed by this fake security camera, specifically, it does not have the flashing LED light.

To be clear, the fake camera I received does not look like the one in the photo on this Amazon page; it is black, does not have the words "CCD camera" anywhere, and doesn't have that fake electrical wire. In short, it doesn't look quite as realistic as the one in the photo on the website as I write this today. That was a bit of a disappointment. Perhaps they will change to photo to match the actual product.This is a cheaply made plastic item from China, but what do you expect from a fake camera? It serves only one purpose -- to tell burglars and criminals to go elsewhere. I suggest mounting it high so people can't touch it or see it too closely. I once knew a burglar, and he said he'd never try to enter a place with security cameras if there was a softer target in the neighborhood. So yes, a fake camera can be a deterrent, and I also have a small placard that says "NOTICE: For your protection, all activity on these premises is monitored by security cameras."It's true, I have a real, motion-activated camera inside the house, but all that can do is take video of the person who is robbing my house. It's a good idea to also have something outside that tells the burglar to go elsewhere. If you can afford a full-house alarm and camera system, obviously that's the best way to go. But for about $12, this fake security camera is a cheap and effective deterrent.

The product page says "Sabre Home Security Burglar Deterrent—Fake Security Camera, Fake Security Keypad and TV Burglar Deterrent" as it sells all the Sabre Home Security Burglar Deterrent product all on one page. You need to pick each one and order separately. This review is for the "Bullet Camera" variant that is being sold on Amazon.I must admit the fake Bullet camera does look real but not exactly like what is pictured on the Amazon product page. I think this a new and improved model (HS-FSCR-B) that has light sensitive "LDR" which Senses ambient light and automatically illuminates the IR LEDs and they produce faint Red color glow in the night just like most Day/Night Camera produce. It uses 2 x AAA batteries. See the pictures and you will notice the changes in new design. It also includes mounting hardware. It is crucial to mount this fake camera in such a way that it makes sense as this one does not have any fake cable.Bottom-line: It is a FAKE Bullet Camera. But It might make Burglar think twice but the Burglars are smart these days.Rating with three stars!
