  • The perfect safety accessory addition to any workshop!
  • When you need to cut a narrow piece of stock on a table saw we know that it can be a little dicey or intimidating. Many of us try to cut the piece we need on the outside of the blade rather than dealing with narrow cuts. However, cutting narrow stock is sometimes unavoidable. In this case it is recommended that you use a safety device such as a push stick to help feed the stock through. Push sticks also help you safely push a workpiece, keeping it flat against a table top while it is being cut.
  • Designed to keep your hands away from blades or cutter, this push stick is an essential tool for your safety. The push stick prevents your hand from getting to close to the cutters or blades on table saws, router tables, shapers and jointers. The push stick has a 90 degree notch on the end with a relief circle to accept the 90 degree corner of your stock. The notched end is designed to be at the ideal angle to the handle and allows for even pressure while pushing stock through the blade.
  • One of the “handiest” features of this push stick is that we have embedded two magnets into the handle. We have done this because many of us have a hard time keeping track of our tools once we are done with them. The embedded magnets remedy this issue by allowing you to place the push stick directly on metal surfaces like the side of a table saw cabinet. We have embedded not just one, but two separate magnets on to the handle to keep the push stick from sliding or inadvertently rotating.
  • The push stick end has been intentionally colored a bright “safety orange” for the simple reason of being able to see the stick at all times when in use. This ensures that you can see exactly where you are placing the push stick in relation to the blade or cutter. The bright color also makes the push stick easy to locate when it stored away.
  • The Magnetic Handle Push Stick measures approximately 12” long and has an ergonomically designed handle that delivers more precise control and a comfortable grip. The push stick also has a hole drilled into the handle just in case you don’t have any metal surfaces to place the push stick. The hole allows you to hang the push stick just a like the rest of your tools . Includes 2 Safety Push Sticks.

You can never have too many push sticks...

Typically we use push sticks on table saws when pushing narrow or smaller stock though. The push stick can also be used elsewhere in the shop like on router tables, jointers and band saws. Why not have at the ready on each of those machines? Or at the very least one on two machines. Another reason you may want to have more than one push stick is in case one does come in contact with a cutter or blade and becomes unusable. Its always good to have a backup just in case!

At a moments notice...

Having your tools around when you need them is one thing. Having your tools ready at a moments notice is another thing altogether! The Push Stick with Magnetic Handle is perfect for keeping one of your most used tools ready and by your side!

Keep your fingers where they belong...

Keeping our fingers and hands safe should always be at the top of the list in regards to our woodworking tools and accessories. After all, we can't do a whole lot of woodworking without them. One way keep your fingers safer is to use a push stick when pushing stock through or working with smaller, more narrow strips. Push sticks keep your precious body parts away from the blade or cutter and allow for a smoother, cleaner and best of all, more controlled cut when used properly. If you've ever had that "funny" feeling when making a "free hand" cut, odds are you should be reaching for a push stick the next time you make that same cut. The basic idea behind the push stick is to keep your fingers a long way from the blade or cutter when feeding your stock through. Remember, its always a good thing to sacrifice a piece of plastic and not one of our precious body parts.

Works well with others

While push sticks work great on there own, from time to time you may need a little assistance with your cuts. Push sticks can be used with featherboards, push blocks, safety v push sticks or even another push stick.Being a handy tool on its own, the push stick is versatile enough to be used most anywhere and with most any tool in your shop!

Magnetic Handle Push Stick

  • 3/8" Push Stick: Makes it possible work stock as narrow as 1/2” wide. The push stick is made from durable poly material that will not shatter upon impact or contact with a blade.
  • 90 Degree Notch: With a 90 degree notch and a relief circle to accept the 90 degree corner of your stock. It is designed to be at the ideal angle to the handle and allows for even pressure while pushing stock through the cutter or blade.
  • Two Embedded Magnets: Some magnetic push sticks come with only one magnet. This typically cause the push stick to fall or start rotating when the machine is turned on. With our two embedded magnets, you push stick stays exactly where you placed it!
  • Ergonomic Handle: A larger, well balanced and more robust handle than most push sticks. This handle provides you with a more comfortable grip and larger thumb indents while pushing your stock through.

These are almost identical to the one I bought a Rockler several years back. The difference is there are two small magnets and the name Rockler isn’t imprinted on the handle. The smaller magnets are actually better because thy allow you to pick up the push stick easier when you’re in the middle of a cut. Great buy and the price is sooooo much better than anywhere I found.

one of them broke in half while using.Fortunately it broke between feedings of the wood thru the saw!I would hate to have imagined if it broke while over the turning saw blade.I threw out the other for safety reason.

I’m very impressed by the quality of these! Very well made. I didn’t think anything made of plastic could be made like this. Very comfortable to hold in my hand. Nice weight to them. Glad I got two and very inexpensive!

I remember my shop teacher talking and talking about shop safety, especially with table saws. I've cut tons of wood without those silly safety guards. Then, while cutting a small board, my hand slipped and part of my thumb went onto the roof of the garage. It could have been worse, but, the emergency room bill convinced me that safety items like these 'push sticks' are pretty important, along with all the other table saw safety items. I could not find any of these sticks at any hardware or industrial supply store in my city. These are great, very good grip, lightweight, but, very strong. Great bargain. Can I get my thumb tip back?

These work well. The handle is a little large for my hands. I have at least average size hands. The biggest dislike is the handle feel slippery. T have had a problem but a little texture or rubber grip had help feel more secure.
