I really like this aluminum RV bumper end cap! The sleek black aluminum design looks so much better than the cheap plastic ones. The main reason I bought this was because I was tired of constantly kicking the old plastic cap back in every time I checked the bumper. Those plastic caps tend to slowly come loose while driving, mine never fully fell off, but it did come halfway off more than once. This aluminum cap completely solved that problem. It was super easy to install, and the instructions were clear and simple. I also love the built-in holes at the end, which add airflow and just make it look cooler. On top of that, it’s now so much easier to simply unhook the clip and open the cap to access the tank sewer hose. Everything is just easier now, not just better looking. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do, no surprises. I highly recommend this to anyone still using a plastic end cap. You won’t regret upgrading to this one!

This is exactly what I needed. The old ones I had were plastic and pushed into place. They tend to fall out every now and then and thankfully it hasn't happened while driving down the road. These new ones are made of metal and have a much more secure method of attaching to the bumper. Way better than the old ones.

Perfect solution for anyone storing their stinky slinky inside their RV bumper, which is most of us! I had previously put some metal screen inside the cheap plastic push-in caps on my RV bumper, but those were getting old and didn’t always want to stay in the bumper. Plus, these just look so much nicer, so much more “finished”.Installation was quick and easy. These caps come with some self-adhesive rubber stickers to put onto the bumper first, so that you’re clamping down on the rubber, not the metal, which helps these to stay on without scratching up the paint on the bumper.First, I cleaned the bumper where the rubber stickers will go, so the stickers will stick well. I then removed the clamping bolts so I could open these up a bit to get over the bumper and the rubber stickers. I then re-assembled the clamping bolts, latched to door closed to set the depth on the bumper, and clamped it down. Done!

A very sure way to ensure your sewer hose storage cap does not open while on the road. Of all the end caps I have owned on my 3 RV's this product is the best and most secure. Time will tell if it beats the rust test! Easy to install and very easy to use!!! Very amazed this product has not been available by a USA mfg.

I ordered this pair of aluminum RV bumper end caps for my camper, to replace the rubber end caps. After losing a sewer hose on the highway, and dealing with rubber end caps falling off, I ordered these aluminum caps as a more permanent solution..I absolutely like these. First, they are aluminum, nicely machined, powder coated, with tight hinges, and close fitting hasp closures. Installation was so simple. Put the included butyl tape strips on the bumper, slide on the end cap, tighten the bolt, close the door and hook the little tethered carabiner. It took me about 15 minutes to I install both ends.I like that the doors are left-right oriented. One for the left side, one for the right side, so that after installation, the bolts are inside next to the camper, and the hasp faces the camper. I also appreciate that they can be installed with only a Phillips screwdriver, but I used my Leatherman Wave, too. No drilling is required. The fit on my standard sized bumper is tight and secure. I had to spread the ring a bit while tapping it on, but this just indicates a close tolerance. The door swings wide with no intrusion into the interior of the bumper. Closure is tight, and the hinge does not rattle. The hasp has a hole about 5/16" and would accept a padlock if desired. Because the door fits outside the bumper, there is a gain of 3/4" inch at each end that the rubber plug end cap would normally use.I plan never to lose another end cap or sewer hose. I recommend these aluminum end caps as a great upgrade. I would definitely order this item again.

My wife and I are blessed to own a travel trailer we enjoy using. Like most, we use those rubber rear bumper inserts to store the sewer hose. While these are okay, they do not keep bugs out and loose their ability to hold tightly over over time. The Safoner Store aluminum RV bumper end caps takes care of all these problems. These end caps are high quality, easy to install, nice looking, and fit the standard four inch square RV bumper perfectly. This kit comes with two end caps and all the hardware needed to mount. You simply mount the end cap and tighten the screw clamping it to the bumper. The holes are large enough to allow air flow so the hose dries out but small enough to keep pests out. This is a very nice addition to my RV.

It will be nice not to have to battle wasps that have used my bumper for their nests. I installed them different than the way they were suggesting, and I think it’s up to the particular circumstances to determine which instillation is best. I keep an eight foot long heavy duty steel pipe in the bumper that I use for crabbing. Because of that I want the hinges forward so that the wind would be closing the cap closed if it were to become unbuckled. I had to remove the nut and bolt in order to get the wire cable and locking buckle to fit at ease, hanging freely. This gave me confidence that it would stay buckled. I saw no need to use the rubber pads because the end caps fit very snugly. I’ve included a picture showing my installation. They are made of heavy duty aluminum and should last for years.

This is a great idea. We had plastic friction-fit caps on the ends of our travel trailer bumper, and they have sometimes fallen off if bumped. I worried that on the road they might fall off and hit the car behind us. But these aluminum end caps stay on as tightly as you can screw them on. The doors are slick because you never misplace them, nor do they fall off. The latch keeps them closed and the latch is wired to the cap so that you never lose them. The holes in the doors also allow your hose to dry out. They were very easy to install and are rust resistant. This is the way to go.
