I don't know what's so special about the composition of these erasers but they work better than any other one I've tried. Highly recommend.

Smallish. Better than standard pencil erasers, but not five stars better. Still, I kept these and tossed my old style erasers.

Light to dark graphite, handles with ease. Lasts a long time. Also, have used Pentel, prisma erasers, the Arch is the ONLY one to use on Duralar, Mylar or Yupo and not mar the surface.

My son won’t use any other eraser. Great size, lasts a long time, keeps his papers clean! I’m sure his teacher loves them too

I do logic grid puzzles and use many pencils and erasers now that I’m retired. I sometimes end up erasing an entire grid of entries to completely start over, so it’s important to me that my eraser:1) doesn’t tear or wear holes in the paper,2) thoroughly cleans the paper, and3) is easy to clean up after. These Arch erasers perform very well in all three areas AND last a long time.I have a box of Pink Pearls, and these Arch erasers outperform them by miles. I also have a black SumoGrip that I bought here on Amazon that does a great job of erasing my dark pencil marks, but it’s more firm than the Arch, AND it wears holes in the grid puzzle paper. The Arch has never torn or worn holes even when completely erasing an entire page two and three times (yep, it happens).I highly recommend these Arch erasers for their performance excellence.

These are amazing erasers, far better than Pentel Hi-Polymer or pretty much anything else you will find. In many cases, if you didn’t dig the pencil into the page, you can erase with these and have no clue that there was ever a mark there. The eraser is soft so it wears relatively fast, but it will not damage the paper. The residue also tends to roll up into small but manageable pieces instead of making a dusty mess like some other erasers do. On top of that, the price is really very reasonable for what you are getting. The eraser compound itself seems to be the same as the W foam eraser, but the arch design here adds the nice feature that the paper cover will not cut into the eraser body. Additionally, it is perforated so that you can remove pieces of the paper cover (I found the most effective way to do this is to remove the cover, press it flat, and then bend the perforation back and forth until it is easy to tear). In summary, these are my favorite erasers, and I highly recommend them.

I own 2b/4b leads. THEY ARE DARK and not many erasers out there can erase it with ease.I took a picture with my Carmex just so you get an idea. These Arch erasers are indeed small and you will think "Damn, I just got ripped off". But....wait wait. I'm presenting you a comparison. My pro-office eraser comes in a package of 3, for $1. It says it erases 2B lead.I erase it first. It smears the lead. It erases. But it leaves some ghosting.I then erase with ARCH. This thing erases like butter 🧈. It erased everything and leaves nothing on the paper. So, if you buy dark lead pencils for your kids, you buy that pink pearl eraser and that poor paper looks like it went through a battle....LOOK NO FURTHER. If you are an artist that love sketching using dark lead....LOOK NO FURTHER.This eraser has a reputation and that's a reputation that is well EARNED.BUY THAT PACK for $5. Don't think you are being ripped off because it's the type of eraser you'll never think to EVER UPGRADE.I think arch should make this into those long click erasers like Pentel. If all you use is HB, stick with pentel or this affordable pro-office eraser. It erases like a dream. But if you get 2B/4B leads, get an ARCH eraser.🥊WINNER BY TECHNICAL ERASER KNOCK OUT: A R C H 🥊

As expected, Japanese stationary is of superior quality compared to their western counterparts. The ingenuity is highlighted in the design choices to the ordinary easer like the perforated lines of the sleeve, the curve, and the grip. Such simple and seemingly insignificant changes increases the functionality and overall ease of use.

Nice, soft erasers that don't damage my expensive watercolor paper. They erase well. They are smaller than I expected, but it probably says the size in the description, I just didn't check. The small size makes them difficult for me to hold, as I have advanced arthritis.I got these because I was curious about what a "foam" eraser was. I still am not sure what the word "foam" is referencing. There are not any visible bubbles in the material as I had guessed. They are very much like any other soft plastic eraser. I like them fine. They are not the softest pvc erasers I have. The "Moo" eraser is still the softest and remains my favorite. The heavy paper cover has perforations, so you can peel it away as you use the eraser, which is handy if you like to keep your eraser clean.
