These are non abrasive erasers. There is a definite crumb created when you use them. I have a cheap china bristle paint brush (hardware, throw away) that I use for cleaning up.They work well on graphite,pastel, and color pencil. If you layer color heavily and burnish the paper they will still lift most of waxy pencil with multiple passes.The photos are graphite on a toothy soft paper. The large round is a waxy graphite what was applied heavily.A light touch will let you pull graphite and create a feeling of movement.I hope this helps.

I highly recommend this to anyone that needs to erase large areas of their art when working, its very clean and doesnt crumble like a pink eraser and doesn't smudge like a kneaded.

Love the eraser. It really does the job! The only drawback is that because of its shape, you really can only erase bigger areas so I just keep a detail eraser close by for those.

You're getting a nice sized eraser here. So no problems cutting it into smaller custom sizes if needed. Cleans a fresh sheet of paper before drawing very nicely - no shreds, doesn't sand, feels good on the paper. Takes off pencil graphite without tragically lightening inks. Soft enough to really get into grooves or textured media. Very pleased, and I've tried em all.

A huge pet peeve of mine is an eraser that smears or smudges the paper, but that's never a problem with this one! It works great! I love to draw and this is the only one I want to use! Has a really weird smell at first though but it gets better over time

Doesn't work well on colored pencils. I will keep my "sand eraser" for that.Don't buy this expecting four-in-one as promoted. You will still need other erasures. Also, it does not clean up as described. Still leaves erasure dust on paper.

Que no deja residuos pequeños o polvo es una verdad a medias, el borrador necesita ser utilizado de cierta manera, con una presión relativamente uniforme, si no, dejará rastros de migas, como cualquier otro borrador convencional. No tengo inconveniente por su olor característico, pero sigo prefiriendo las gomas amasables, unas mejores que otras, en cuanto a su desempeño para borrar los trazos residuales de lápiz. Ahora sólo utilizaré este borrador Vanish, con los trazos de lápiz muy persistentes que desee eliminar. Cosa que he hecho siempre con cualquier otro borrador.

I recieved this eraser and was worried that I had waisted alot of money on it. Well I got the biggest shock, after building up many layers of polychromo pencils in a small area of shrubbery along a garden path I decided to add dark pink flowers. As soon as I started I hated it. Distressed I thought I ruined my picture. But no this eraser removed the mistakes so easily I barely had to apply any pressure and that gave me better cocntrçol over the size of the area removedn.vn And no damadge to the tooth of the paper. It took all the layers off and I could add them back and you can't even tell there was ever a mistake made there. I have only tested it with coloured pencils. But the results I got have taken away a huge amount of fear because the mistakes are so easily removed.
