- flap disc with hard-pressed flaps (top) and a standard flap disc with fiberglass backing and unpressed flaps (bottom). the flaps of discs are pressed on to the backing disc over their full area – throughout the entire hardening process – to produce a solid, compact and vibration-stable abrasive.

Made with premium Ceramic Grains that are resin over resin bonded onto extra strong polyester material. This Flap Disc is constructed of industrial-grade high-density premium ceramic material, increased durability than standard flap discs, built for a more robust and economical grinding wheel.
Does Numerous Functions
These metal cutting discs are ideal for grinding, deburring, and light grinding on a variety of surfaces, can be used for metal or woodworking, concrete grinding or finishing, stone smoothing or finishing, to rust removal, and more. Not the best flap disks I've used (quality and duration of sanding ability) but for quick small jobs where light sanding is adequate will do a good job. Only used a few disks to date but overall I'm satisfied with cost/use of these disks!

They start off great then wear down some. They don’t last to long. Thats to be expected as the ones that last are twice as much

I’m an amateur metalworker, still learning the ropes. I’d been using cheap-o flap discs to smooth my ugly welds and they worked fine but wore down quickly. A friend recommended ceramic discs so I tried these based on the price. They last twice as long and cut twice as fast. Great product at a fair price.
