Love these but the salt and pepper end up on your counter. I use a small tray to avoid the mess. But these are very pretty and work great!

These are a very nice size, solidly constructed, and are smooth to use. The classic, clean lines and colors go with many styles. They don't hold lots, which I like, because I don't like my spices to sit around and get old. I put the pepper in the tall one because we use more pepper than salt, but they work equally well either way (I tried!).

I really love the look of these and mine do function properly, however, they are some downfalls to this set that are substantial enough to warrant spending a bit more and getting a much better set.First, I thought the tops would only be made of wood, not the entire unit and then painted. This wouldn't be a huge deal breaker for me if they weren't also painted on the inside. Not a fan.They are quite smaller than I expected as well. They do not hold much and you can expect to refill these often. Also, when refilling, the metal piece tends to move around making it difficult to put back together to use. A simple, yet exceedingly annoying thing.Mine do function and serve their purpose for now but I will be ordering a better set to replace these as they just aren't very well made.

It doesn’t hold a lot of salt & pepper so I opted for using it as a decorative piece in my kitchen. Still worth the purchase.

My old white peppermill gave out so I dragged my feet on order a new now. My When I saw this salt pepper combo I knew it's what my pathetic existence needed. Bought some hymilian (sp?) pink sea salt and I'll never look back!!! They work great, look great and dammit, I LOVE THEM!!!
