Hat anfänglich sehr gut funktioniert. Und dann ein komplettes Interview mit Störgeräuschen versaut. Jetzt funktioniert es gerade wieder fehlerfrei. Aber mein Vertrauen in dieses Produkt ist zerstört. Bin sehr enttäuscht.

I ordered this and used it to record a couple of LIVE yoga sessions online. It dropped out and had a hiss a lot of the time. When the sound was good it was good but the good was never consistent. I figured my mic was damaged, as others I know who have it hadn't reported any issues, so I asked for an exchange. I exchanged on Amazon for a new one, the new one came and it was worse. Receiver completely charged and it wouldn't turn on at all. The real drag is that I need this product work my work and this back and forth and the damage to the product is cutting into my time and productivity.

Sometimes the link between GMM Lavalier and GMM Receiver is dropping out, resulting in no sound in the recording. GMM Receiver battery is draining a bit quick when using both Channel 1 and 2 (we have two microphones). Another crucial issue is the Micro USB to Lightning cable is wearing off so quickly (look at the photo), we tried to reach Samson support, but they don't sell it. We tried to contact the Samson distributor in our country (New Zealand), and they also don't sell it. Now our Samson GMM set is kind of 'doomed' since no one sells the Samson-comptible Micro USB to Lightning cable.Ps: We have tried to connect GMM Receiver to iPhone using Micro USB to Lightning that came with our DJI Mavic Drone, but it didn't work.

This product works great for what it is intended for, wireless sound into a video device to record for content for the web. It's easy to set up and fits most devices. Charging the batteries is simple, and I have not used it for long enough to run into a battery depletion issue. Unless you are recording for hours I don't see an issue. You get a variety of hook up cords for the receiver that should connect to pretty much any device you are recording with, phone, digital camera, etc. I found the sound to be very even, good reproduction of my voice, and it did not pick up too much room sound. The volume input from the transmitter plus an output volume to the device is super handy, allows you to set things up to sound great.The product is all plastic, so will probably not take a hard drop on the floor, but it doesn't feel flimsy.Instruction manual is very straightforward, I would think anyone that could figure out their TV remote could get this up and running in no time.The only quibble I have is I did try this as a lav mic for a live sound setup, and it did not work very well, too many feed back issues. BUT that is not what this was designed for, I was just hoping to get lucky duel purposing it. Bottom line, good value, does what it says it does, good sound, no issues!

i use it with my iphone on the beach. sound was very crispy clear even though there was high wind. distance was approximately 100 ft. only problem i feel was mounting option, 1) i wish they make a bracket such a way that we don't need to take the phones cover off. 2) connecting cord need to make longer so we can use it when phone is on Gimble.wright now i couldn't use it with gimble. that's why i gave 4 star

I purchased the Go Mic to make some YouTube videos. We recorded today outside and mic kept cutting in and out. The results are unacceptable and I have sent an email to Samson to see if the problem can be resolved. I do have a number of other Samson products which I am very happy with but unless there is a solution, the quality we are getting from the mics is unacceptable and I can't continue to use the product.Yesterday I heard back from Samson who said "If you have the beltpack in a less exposed spot or more in front of the body, does this remedy the issue? This system runs on 2.4 ghz which is a a very "thin" frequency wave. Due this this waveform being so thin, it can easily be blocked by the body, walls and other obstacles of that nature."We are filming in an area that we have a lot of interferance which is why the audio keeps cutting out. I am returning the unit and will purchase another unit that runs UHF bands. I did purchase the Samson CR88V Receiver which should resolve the issue I am having.

Iam a youtuber, Sakalakala tv YouTube channel, and Not worth for money.. Sound clarity is not good and reciver will discharge low battery after usi g 2hrs. I was so fedup..

UPDATED. Was REALLY thrilled with this at first. But after I bought it, I read some additional online reviews that talked about the mic cutting out randomly. I had not encountered this but had not used a lot yet. I had both the lapel mic and the handheld, so I set them both to record the same signal for about 20 mins. Sure enough, looking at the wave form, the lav pack cut out for part of a second 3 times in under 20 minutes. And this was with the pace sitting 3-4 feet from the receiver with no intervening obstacles. The handheld behaved perfectly. Did the same test with my Sennheiser EW100G3 wireless lavs and my Rode Link wires lav, and they were perfect. So I have no returned the unit. Giving 3 stars because the receiver and handheld mic work great! But the lav, no so much. So if you want this only for use with the handhelds, get it! But not if you want unbroken sound from the lavs.
