My low-rent camcorder and budget action camera don't provide power to accessories so I needed a reasonably priced battery powered microphone. I liked the dual, split shotgun mic idea and the DB adjustment capability is a plus so this little mic pretty well fit my needs. After some testing on a couple of different cameras and some playing around with the DB adjustments and shotgun splitting I found that this little microphone is measurably better than the internal mics on the cheap cameras. It's not perfect but it will do what I wanted it to do. I would recommend this for budget minded people wanting a little sound reinforcement.

The case, the dead cat, everything feels of quality, I liked it, the only thing is for audio with the phone, the tests I did were not sounding good, with the camera it worked perfectly for me.

I really wanted this mic to be my go-to concert mic for my DJI Pocket 2 camera. It's fully featured and when recording live acoustic music sounds very good. However with loud electric music 'pops' could be heard in the recording. And it wasn't due to interference as the 'pops' would only occur when music was present and not it was quiet. I'm guessing that even with the provided level attenuation control the mic capsules and/or mic preamp would overload when the music was too loud.

I'm very impressed with this shotgun mic. Compared with my stock built in microphone on my iphone 15 pro max, this mic reduces a lot of the reverberations and surrounding noise. I've got a couple of shotgun mics, and I haven't compared all of them to this one but this one comes with a built in battery that can be recharged as needed. It comes with trs and trrs cables as well as a couple of dead cats. Everything is carried in a case. I haven 't played around with changing the positions of the mics but I expect that that feature will perform well also.I'm really glad I ordered this mic as I plan to record my kid's music concerts with it.

GH5’s are known to have very hot mic preamps. Even with the gain set to -12db, a lot of the mic’s are too hot and you have to turn them down quite a bit. This little microphone works very well with GH5 and at 0db, it has very low noise and picks up sound very well for vlog videos.The unit comes with a nice case, TRS to TRS cable, TRRS to TRS cable, usb-c charging cable and two deadcats. Shockproof mount is part of the body and the two mics rotate 180 degrees to give you flexibility in how you want to pick up sound. On the back, you have the power switch to turn on, off and set it to low cut off setting. Next to it, you can toggle between stereo and mono mode. Right side has the gain setting and it has 3 settings, -10db, 0db and +10db as well as headphone out for monitoring. Left side has the charging port and mic out for camera/smartphone.I still need to play with the angles but this small mic gives you a lot of ways to capture sound. And on the GH5, it’s one of the cleanest sounding mic’s I’ve used. I’ve also used this with Portacapture X6 and it worked very well and the recording sounded very good. Overall, very versatile mic that’s super compact. Highly recommended!!

This microphone is a pleasant surprise: Recordings sound fine (natural) and the mike has the perfect size for an action camera (I tested it with a DJI Action 5 using the DJI Mic adapter and a cage to mount it). On top of that the mike can be charged with a USB-C to USB-C cable (some of the competing products require USB-A to C cables which is a no-go for me).The design of this mike reminds me of the much larger/heavier Comica Traxshot (non-Pro version) which I have used for the last couple of years. In fact, I would not be surprised if both devices are manufactured in the same factory.Overall, I am happy with the purchase, and I plan to test the mike in windy conditions next.

Having two boom mics in one single setup is perfect for dialogue scenes, podcasts, and vlogs.It's simply a great idea!It also comes with all the accessories, including the windshields (dead cats) and even an additional cable TRS / TRRS , so you can use it directly on your Iphone.I absolutely recommend this product.
