I specifically picked this one because it said it was aluminum. Not the cheap plastic ones that's all over the place.There was a shipping issue took longer to get here and it finally gets here and it's plastic. I didnt want plastic. This one had my attention because it was stated that it was aluminum.

Long reach, very sturdy and easy to adjust length with secure adjustments. Very pleased. Comfortable grips. Reached a piece of wood stuck in muck off of our dock to maneuver it out. Brought kayak into shoreline from canal by hooking onto the loop in the bow. Very handy.

We’ve used this on our ski a couple of times now, once to pick our dry bag out of the water that had my phone in it, once to retrieve a hat. Very durable so I’m confident it could pick up heavier items if needed. Love that it collapsed and extends. You need this
