The first time I used this I got it too thick and it didn't want to buff out. I tried it again using a lighter touch applying and it worked better. I'm still watching the rolling pins to see how it holds up. I did order a satin and a gloss but only received two satin. I guess they had more satin than gloss on hand.

I like the Hut wax bar better than the more expensive Hut liquid wax. It doesn't streak

this is a wax finish that also darkens to wood just slightly it is food safe and it is applied using friction. it is not as glossy as other methods but it does protect from water and if you add boiled linseed oil before applying the wax it looks great. perfect for pen turning.
