I wish I had taken a photo of what I received. Listing images are completely misleading. The product was thin generic felt that you buy in bulk. Stitching was inferior to what is shown in the product. Save yourself time and just buy a quality item.

I received 2 very large hats, which I find to be better than 1 large and 1 small that is mentioned in many reviews. I was able to wear my hat with a spring clip holding my hair up inside the hat. I have a large head and I was wearing the smaller of the two hats. The cream colored hat was the larger of the two but the material felt much nicer. Being the nice wife that I am, I gave that one to my dh (I will make my own to replace the gray one). The gray hat is extremely pokey. It is about as comfortable as when burrs are stuck to your clothing if it touches your skin. I am a crafter and do several crafts that involve using wool and I have significant doubts about the gray one being wool. It would be a blend at best, although to be fair, I haven't performed a burn test yet. The fabric is also rather thin and the construction is rudimentary.With all that being said, at this price point expectations would be low for one hat and getting two at this price I feel I got what I paid for. They did function as an insulator for the most part. If you own a sauna and just want a couple extra cheap hats to have around these would work. If you only plan to sauna once a year or less this would work. If you love sauna and are looking for a high quality product open your wallet and invest in it.

The 2 hats are different sizes. The gray one I got was smaller than the off white. My friend and I hit up the sauna today. It def. makes a difference

It's definitely not 100% wool. It stretched after washing and drying. Doesn't protect from heat.

When the temperature exceeds 200° F in my sauna, the tips of my ears feel a burn coming on. With this hat, both the top of my head and my ears are protected. I am able to experience a hotter sauna.

Enjoyed the benefits of keeping our heads cool. However if you dip these in water to wear them, after they dry the wool begins to loosen and lifts up. Which becomes itchy and prickly. Worth investing in a slightly more expensive /thicker sauna hat.
