This is a great saw for cutting very small pieces of wood. i was using a Dremel or my electric Scroll Saw to do small cuts but this hand saw is safer and makes straighter cuts most of the time.

This is a fairly sturdy hobbiest saw. It has very fine pitch blades to make a smooth cut on most materials. If you use a steel rule or a guide of some kind you can get a long straight cut and lose practically no material to the kerf of the blade. You WILL need to use some wax or something to lubricate the blade. Without it, it drags so much it it doesn't drag. It just locks
