This insert can be used with all SawStop Cast-Iron saws (Jobsite Saw not included) using 8" dado blades. Precision machined from a high-quality, ultra strong phenolic core material that is covered on top and bottom with a low-friction, wear-resistant melamine surface. The positioning screws ensure a solid and precise fit in the table. The positive locking latch allows for tool-free operation.

The insert is good quality but the latch to secure it in place is super snug. You need a screw driver or something to remove it. It works tho! Just annoying.

This is a SawStop Dado Insert blank, as described in the description. Works well with the saw, as designed. Just as good as buying from the manufacturer, but buying here saves on shipping cost and time.

Needed a zero-clearance insert for making half-half-half drawers. Worked perfectly. It’s the only one of my inserts that I don’t need a lever to remove. Smooth operation. Well worth the price.

After getting my dado set I needed an insert to use with my blade and this fits the bill. Good fit and finish, easy to use. Instructions come with the insert on how to create the zero clearance cuts. You can use this for any zero clearance blade insert for the Stopsaw table saw.

I was a little iffy cutting through this at first with my new dado not knowing if it would set of my cartridge but all went well. In case you don't know you have to put on your dado blades, lower it all the way down, turn it on and then crank the blade up into the insert for a custom fit. If you don't have room on the bolt for all your dado blades I was told by their great costumer service to take off the washer after a half inch. Hope this helps someone because I was unsure at first

I purchased this for use with my dado set but after using it I will be purchasing the regular blade model as well. Drop it in place, push the lever down and its locked into place and ready to go. Makes blade changes faster and easier than the stock model with its locking screw.
