When I opened the package, the box was sealed with wide tape that said quality control inspected. For $40, I would hope I could get a new item, not a used one.

The concept and idea it’s great, but the quality and the material it’s a whole different matter. It’s a bit robust and ugly. I wouldn't trust a 3k-6k Saxophone in there, specially in a hot day or next to hot amps and or other hot electronic equipment. If they just used a light metal instead plastic and gave it a more kinda iPhone fine, clean, sharp and nice look it would be a total success, a total baddas stand.

What I like about this sax stand is that it is easy to unfold and be ready to hold your sax with some decent stability. It has a convenient carry bag, and is smaller than most sax stands, so it takes up less space. My only issue with it is that the adjustable “U” mount does not lock into place, so there’s a chance that it may change its position unexpectedly.
