1st few times I used this I thought, perfect! Then had to tighten the screw as other reviewers stated and then the plastic pivot piece snapped.I do love the handle as opposed to the telescopic kind, just need to combine the two as the handle broke on my telescopic.

The good: The handle is A1. It clips in place and does not collapse when you put pressure on it like the handles that are telescopic (the ones that twist in place).The bad: The scoop slots are too big and don’t hold the small lumps. Worse than that, the angle of the scoop is adjustable, which would be a great idea, but it will not stay put and collapses with the least little pressure not matter what angle it is set at, rendering the whole this unusable.

Broke cheap metal and barely had for few month. Was okay til then the head screw would strip.

For my situation doesn't quite work out. I have four cats we use pellets not cat litter so it doesn't quite lift or sift the right way. It seems like it might work for cat litter but I can't tell you that for sure it is sturdy it's movable

most cat scoops have a short handle and i cant always reach into cages easily.. i have rescue cats and the long handle is very convenient and helpful to use

I'm updating this review March 2025: Much happier than before. I figured out that using pliers/wrench to tighten the hexagonal wrench in the position I want has solved the problem! It is just a tiny bit loose after 3 months but still stays in place. I'll tighten it again when it needs it.This long litter scooper with adjustable angle and length is wonderful for my touchy back.The handles (3 connectible for different lengths) is lightweight and sturdy. It comes with a hexagonal wrench to secure the angle of the scoop. I do have to tighten the scoop every 2-3 days but it is so worth it to not upset my back!
