Great OEM replacement for my 2012 Mazdaspeed 3. LuK makes the OEM clutches that come with the car and used by Mazda from the factory, so this will save you money vs. going to the dealer or ordering an "OEM" Mazda-branded replacement.These are solid and you don't need an upgrade unless you're running over 350+ torque at the wheels.Remember to buy new flywheel bolts and maybe pressure plate bolts for your clutch change, and it's not a bad idea to buy a clutch slave cylinder replacement while you're at it. Those are known to be a weak point and you don't want to have to tear everything apart again 10-20k miles after your clutch change to replace your cylinder.

Is the OE clutch for 2008 mazdaspeed 3. While removing the original OEM clutch, could see the Luk brand stamp on it to verify. This kit comes with the OEM Luk branded clutch disc, pressure plate, clutch release bearing, and pilot bearing. Looks very similar to product image at time of posting (10-20-17)While removing transmission case and reinstall was a pain, the clutch is the right clutch for the application for OE/stock purposes, and fits like it should.Test drove for 10 miles with no noticeable issues, after adjusting and bleeding clutch line. Will update review after longer duration, or as needed.This clutch is paired with a new Fidanza aluminum flywheel at time of install. The pilot bearing was not replaced, as the original appeared in good shape, and did not have proper tools to pull the bearing. Close to 20 hour job, over 3 days, just needed the car done at that point.10 miles in after replacement: The setup seems to be performing as expected. Tested on normal city driving, and 2 50% throttle pulls in 1st and 2nd gear up to 4500 rpm. Aluminum flywheel is a noticeable difference.

What can I say? This arrived after a UPS mess up three days later than they were supposed to but that's a UPS issue and doesn't reflect on the clutch itself.It was easy enough to install, fit as it should and is working well. If it wears out more quickly than it should I will update the review, but for now I'm totally pleased with it.

This is identical to the oem clutch in my 2009 mazdaspeed 3. No issues with quality or fitment. The only thing I wasn't pleased by was that the throwout bearing had a plastic component when the oem did not. Only time will tell if this is a weak point.

LUK is the OE clutch for the Mazdaspeed3/6. I installed this in an '06 Mazdaspeed6 along with a Fidanza flywheel. The car is fully bolted with a stage 2 tune and this combo holds the power no problem. Make sure you take it easy for the first 500-1000 miles during break in and you will have a very nice clutch. I would recommend raising your idle above 900RPM (using Cobb AccessTunerRace to modify the map if you have an AccessPort), this makes it much easier to launch smoothly and keeps clutch chatter to a minimum.
