I recently bought the Schwinn cargo bike trailer as I’ve been biking to work more and I love it! The setup was simple and straightforward, and the trailer attaches securely to my bike. I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious it is—plenty of room for my work gear. I also like the cover that goes over the top in case of rain - great water resistance. The ride is smooth, and the trailer feels stable even on uneven paths. I appreciate the flag for visibility because I do have to cross a busy street on my route. Overall, the trailer is well-built, and safe. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to travel to work outside a vehicle and run errands.

I live on a pretty large plot of land so I used to take my trash in my car to drop it off where my trash can is on the road but now I just use my e-bike and this to travel around the farm. It’s super sturdy, easy to setup. Big time worth it for the price.

Use it regularly to go shopping. Works great! Easy to install and use. Wheels come off easily and frame folds flat so it can fit easily in a closet.

Pictures do not do this trailer justice. It's extremely well thought out and constructed. Much sturdier than it appears in the pictures. The frame is much more rigid than I had anticipated it to be, as well as the sides being made of thick, heavy fabric. It's well balanced and stable when towing. It's extra heavy 100lb capacity is a plus, although I suspect most owners will not be carrying that much weight. Assembly and disassembly takes mere minutes to accomplish. I've read concerns about the sides rubbing on the tires. Not so. Unless you fail to secure your cargo correctly using bunji's and the 4 d-rings mounted on the floor, the sides won't rub on the tires. When assembled the front and sides are held surprisingly rigid due to the internal foldable metal framework with the sides having a strap attached to the fabric that runs from the lower front to the upper rear of the frame protecting anything from rubbing on the tires. And speaking of tires, I've read concerns about them as well. There's nothing wrong with Schwinn's tire selection, it's a trailer, it's not going to be loaded to the max and used every day. There's no reason to overkill the tires!! The cover is securely attached at all four corners leaving it no chance of coming off even in windy conditions. What makes this trailer stand above others is it's price, construction, weight, capacity, ease of assembly, and ease of storage when folded. It easily fits behind a door or under a bed. In my opinion, this is the best bike trailer available for ease of use, quality, and value.

I’ve been looking for a shopping trailer, and have settled for the Schwinn DayTripper. You simply can’t beat the weight/price ratio, and I’ve looked long and far.Delivery was swift, no excessive packaging. I got it assembled and fully figured out within a few minutes without even looking into the manual (which upon later study describes everything very well). It’s pretty much self explanatory.Overall, it’s a lovely trailer. Well built and sturdy, the folding frame snaps into place, the brace arms lock right into their ports. Its cover with rubber band borders and plastic buckles will stay in place and keep things dry during a minor rain and the road’s dust and dirt off your cargo, but it won’t withstand a veritabe downpour, especially with heavy splashes from the road since the cover leaves holes on the side. The plastic floor is definitely stable enough even for heavier loads, the hitch feels super sturdy. All in all it seems like this thing can carry more weight than I can be bothered to pull. So far the heaviest I’ve loaded up was a 4-drawer metal filing cabinet (there goes my warranty). I kid you not, pic attached. It folds quickly into something rather flat that can get tucked away even in a small apartment, and that in seconds. In another half a minute the wheels are off and it’ll be even flatter.Which brings me to the only downside: the wheels. Clearly cheap knockoffs, they came with a few issues. The tires are directional and one came mounted the wrong way. Not that that matters hugely, but i decided to be anal and change it. That revealed that the rim rubber that’s supposed to protect the inner tube from the spoke nuts was shifted and frankly not big enough, it didn’t cover all the rivets. A quick fix with some good tape, but hadn’t I changed the tire I probably would’ve run into a puncture pretty soon. Needless to say I checked the other tire as well and found the same problem. But more importantly, the rims were severely bent, making for a rather wobbly ride. Not just a slight warp, mind, they were seriously deformed. I had to take my pry bar and truing tool to the rims to straighten them. Once that was fixed it’s an astonishingly stable trailer, especially with a little load in it. Sticks to the road, doesn’t bounce too much, doesn’t give, doesn’t pull.I liked that the lock pins for the wheel mounts come tethered to the frame so you can’t lose them, however the one for the hitch is not, so i fashioned a tether out of a piece of string. The orange safety flag came off on the first ride, it just slides onto the pole. I've replaced it with something fun and secured it with a cable tie.As I said, all in all I really like this trailer and use the heck out of it. The wheels are probably the reason why we’re getting this good a quality for this low a price. If Schwinn is listening, however: a truly lovely trailer, but pretty please do something about those wheels.
