My legs are getting pretty bad as I age and I go through periods where having a little help with a brace can be nice. I got this to try as I have never tried anything like it before. It is very well made and is soft to the touch. It goes on pretty easily, however because of the way it is made, the right leg is a bit tougher to get it on than the left leg. You have to get it strapped around your waste in front and then spin it around your waist (unless you have very flexible arms, which I don't), then you can strap the leg part on. Not a big deal though. It is pretty comfortable to wear and it really does help with the hip and upper leg pain. Overall, I am happy with this thing.

I run a lot and ocasionally am experiencing some sciatic issues, thigh pain and having this hip n thigh combo strap helps. It is made of velcro, neoprene and is so easy to affix onto your waist and thigh. It is wide, strong and be sure to strap it on to the tightness that works for you. Sometimes when I have sciatic pain I will use it on my left or right. I like I can turn it around for the other side. So one unit works for both sides. At first I didn't tighten it enough on my thigh and after a few attempts I found the tightness that works for me. I find it is functional for my sciatic nerve flare ups I ocasionally get or thigh strain post training or races whether it is 5k, 10k, or half marathon, it just depends on the day. This support brace makes a difference in my recovery time for sure. Sometimes i just use it while I am driving or doing chores if I feel a strain in those areas.

This hip brace is well made and fits securely on my waist/thigh. It provides adequate compression for my hip and is comfortable to wear, even under clothing. I do forget that I'm wearing it, so that's a huge plus for any brace or support. This brace seems to be made to fit one's left leg ideally, but it can be turned around to fit one's right leg. I need it for my right leg, and I did find it a little awkward at first to position on my right leg. When I had shooting pain down my leg, I could not put this brace on by myself. You may need help putting it on if your motion is limited like mine.Once it is on, my movement is not restricted. The brace does seem to wick away moisture as I am comfortable wearing it all day. The compression it provides does relieve some of my hip pain, and I feel a little more stable putting my weight on my leg when I'm wearing this brace. It works as intended, and I am pleased with it.

This compression support sleeve is so simple to wear! You simply wrap it around your hip area, below your waist, and then secure your thigh, adjusting the tightness as you feel comfortable. It offers a really nice compression stabilization. And it’s very comfortable to wear under your clothes as it’s not bulky! I’ve worn it for hours at a time with no rubbing or discomfort. I feel it is a good value for the functionality I’ve seen from using it!

3/10/2025: AuFlex Hip Brace Thigh Support Compression Sleeve, Adjustable Hip Brace for Men and Women (Black)The design of this brace allows for a lot of adjustments; the velcro straps can attach anywhere on the brace, not just in designated areas.I was skeptical that it would fit me (as most "universal" fit items made for both men and women are too big for me), but it fits just fine. It was very easy to figure out how to put it on, also.It seems like it does provide some support. I don't have an injury at this moment, but I seem to injure something at least once a year so I wanted to be ready. It seems like it does provide some support, although if you have an actual injury I would suggest checking with your doctor before relying on this alone.

I wouldn't call it "universal"... it didn't fit me. I'm also not too sure how it could help my hip pain if it did fit; it seems like just a standard strap of neoprene with velcro attached to another strap of neoprene with velcro. I suppose it's possible that it could stabilize a hip joint if it was placed just right, but it doesn't seem wide or sturdy enough to do much there. I might have a different opinion if I could have actually used the product, of course.

This hip brace passes the main test for me - that it fits a petite woman. The Velcro holds well. I have hip issues and I hope this helps. It didn't come with any instructions on when to wear it, or how it can help, however. I will only be wearing it on weekends at home as it is a bit bulky for me.
