Scientific Anglers has been for decades the gold standard in regard to its line of products, that all other brands are compared to. Some brands exceed the level of quality and performance, whiles some brands fall short. For me, SA has always been a great series of products whose quality can be reliable and depended upon.The only issue with this product is how it is described in the Amazon description. The standard sizing of describing the tippet diameter in X's, such as 0X,01X, etc., is missing. Yes you can get the raw diameter info from the photo of the packaging, but most flyfishers think in terms of an X tippet size - which determines the size of flys you can cast. Without the X tippet in the description, the buyer has to do some unnecessary translation by looking it up separately - delaying the purchase.
