I did not upgrade the floss on this case and used what was sent with it. I do believe that some tangles with the floss occur because it is too long. 73.5 inches does not divide well by 3. Try dividing the hunk of floss by 4 or 5 and use pieces which are 15 to 18 inches long and not 24 plus which is 2 feet. My hands do not handle 24 inches well. However you do it, this is a beautiful case!!

I bought this case to re-visit needlepoint which I haven't done in many, many years. The case is very pretty and I love the idea that is it assembled and ready to be stitched. The colors and quality are spot on.
