Great product, but not the mp, just the depthmaster. I bought it twice, and returned both because it was not the mp, otherwise, it would of been perfect!

Takes a lot of turns to real up from 200 ft. Lol. Does the trick and the rad holder is nice. Has depth counter.

Came ready to use right out of the box. I bought the model with the base attachment to fit my Jon boat side. Will use next weekend over New Years and there is no doubt my review will remain 5 stars. Solid material and easy to use and install

This is the best portable downrigger on the market. It mounts easily to the rail on the back of the boat and works great!

1st mine did come complete with clamp and rod holder. I needed light, compact, versatile, rugged and quick detach. Specificly for a motorized 16 ft canoe targeting lake trout down to 80 feet. The design of this unit allows mounting close to the center line of a canoe using a modified thwart. The horizontal spool allows either side use controlled from fore or aft. The result is 2 people can stack releases and troll deep out of a canoe hassle free. Heads up to Kayak users. With a base mounting point this should work on a Yak. Very useful on those NO MOTOR lakes. Slick working unit.

Didn't Receive Everything In Order that I Was Supposed Too... As the item says "Masterpack" I didn't get the Masterpack... I got the Basic Compact Manual Downrigger instead... The Masterpack was supposed to include the Scotty 1021 Clamp Mount... I like the Scotty Downrigger as a whole... Have fished with one before... Great product...! I was just very disappointed that I wasn't shipped what I ordered and paid for... Now I have to go through the inconvenience and time to wait for Amazon to send me another complete unit, open it up and "HOPEFULLY" there will be a 1021 Clamp Mount in the box... I was told to take out the clamp mount and then close the box up and have UPS come pick it up and send it back to Amazon... Talk about s***ty logistical customer service... If they had just got it right the first time when processing and pulling the order...!!!! Geeeshh...! This happens with these yahoos all the time... In the mean time I have to postpone my much anticipated and long planned fishing trip because somebody at Amazon jacked up my order... Oh well...!
