I got quoted $900 for a screen replacement. The shop recommended just to buy a new laptop. That wasn’t as option as it was only 5 months old and for a college student with no money. This part came with the tools needed to do the job, and it wasn’t too hard to do. Works like new! I wasn’t expecting an Apple logo on it either, which was a surprise when it came with one.
