Working great for adjusting speed of motor. Only downside is, it turns on if power is turned off and back on.

I like the appearance of the unit &the large readout display. The power button switch is sort of flimsy but adequate. The display shows percent of power from 0 to 100. The reheostat is a better quality with a smooth feel.

Got this to control speed on a motor. Cut out and mounted it. Hooked power supply and motor up. Plugged it in and no power to screen. Took on off switch back out and wires pulled out. So just to check it since wires came out I bypassed it and still no power. Have used similar ones but have to try another one of these cause I done cut the hole for it in my metal case to mount it. Or either buy another case and use another speed controller I have used before.

Absolutely disgusted.....this item was clearly damaged, returned, then sent out again.The chewed up broken pieces were included.Treating customers like fools....!Buyer beware.

I have no real experience with this type of thing but I used it on a project and it works perfectly. My project has a 12V power supply and motor. The display is clear with no flicker. I'm not using it in it's case but the case fit the electronics snuggly. Wiring it up was relatively easy, obviously be very sure of your polarity when wiring up the power in as refreshing it will certainly kill them unit.

Digital display was a nice surprise. Will use to control speed of a tiny gear motor that raises and lowers the hinged windshield on an old coupe (1937). The original pot metal gear box that was used to accomplish the task broke into several pieces, so I had to fabricate another out of aluminum, using the gear motor, instead of the original hand crank on the dash.
