As a traveling technician I needed a hard case to carry my gig gear.This is my second Seahorse case and I love them both.Decent price for a quality case.Definitely would recommend the Seahorse Cases brand to anyone.Also add ons are really well made and I loved how the add on pouches came with screws and velcro. The actual case has placement for these.

This is a GREAT case for carry on that has the Max storage inside. I picked it for the single handle - meaning one strip down the inside creating dead space. The handle doesn't have 2 bars down the inside that reduce interior room, nor does it have a big heavy backplate system that makes it thicker.It is lightweight, yet sturdy and there are several options for key locks built into the locking levers. By default you still get a knob lock built into the levers. The levers are large enough to get purchase with large fingers and secure very well.I got mine on sale and at the time of purchase it was a little less than the Pelican case of the same size. This keeps my laptop and diving regulators with me when I travel, in total protecting more than 3k of gear, securely in case I ever am forced to check it. It also of course has cuttouts for your own full size proper non TSA lock to be added.I hit the duty free on my way back into the USA, pull out the laptop, and check this full of alcohol and my SCUBA regs and I know everything inside is secure!

It did exactly what I needed it to. I put 40 pounds of cast iron wood planes in it. It survived 4 airline legs with absolutely no damage to the contents.

Not actually bullet proof, but I've tried other heavy duty cases, and this thing is really tough Thick materials, does not flex, the locks are solid, hinges are heavy duty. The retractable handle is sturdy, lock is good quality. Wheels don't appear to ever disconnect any time soon. And made in USA. Can't beat that. ! I did not buy from this vendor, but bought one on Amazon last year, exact same case.

This is an excellent carry on choice that offers great protection for sensitive electronics or peace of mind for the more security conscious. I purchased this as carry on bag to be used on my frequent trips to protect my camera and filming equipment. This comes without any foam inserts as I wanted the flexibility to use it as basic luggage or an equipment hauler.The size is perfect for the regular traveler and satisfies most major US Airline sizing regulations.The case is sturdy and well built, the carry handles are solid plastic and give a very comforting sense of strength and excellent engineering. The retractable handle is also useful when using it as a general carry on bag utilizing the wheels to help it move around.I purchased the all black version and I am very happy with the purchase. It is an excellent case and at a fantastic price point. In the future I will have some custom inserts made to carry my filming equipment, but until then it will serve double duty as a carry on bag and electronics hauler. Update: An amazing customer service rep (Lacey) was in contact with me and made everything better. She made sure I got the right case.Every bit of the case is well made and seems like it will really take a beating. Plus, one heck of a warranty and unparalleled service. I’ll update once I get more use out of it.Edit: I was sent the wrong item. The 920 does not fit carry on guidelines, the 830 may (I don’t gave it)I could not be more unhappy with this case. They promised up and down that it would be carry on sized. Well that’s just not true. I bought it for a trip to San Diego, and I tried to carry it on an American Airlines flight but they said it was too big. The build is fine but it’s just too big. I will be looking into a return for this to buy one that is a carry on sized. It’s a shame because the case was everything else that I wanted it to be.Maybe they just sent me the wrong case?

It's the first time in my 50 years of travel that a case drew positive comments from customs agents, TSA and ordinary travelers. It's sturdy, easily fits in overhead compartments and has strong wheels capable of carrying not only this case and its contents but a heavy bag piled on top--through airports, on sidewalks and streets. Nice price, too.
