I have seen several of these simple brackets offered on Amazon but would like to advise people that you really need the lug nuts to secure the spare tire to the trailer. You may think the lockable metal bracket is sufficient, but it isn't simply because you must rotate each piece a full 360 degrees to get the lock holes to line up. You will quickly find that you cannot get the spare tire tight using only these. The first step is to tighten the wheel to the trailer using the lug nuts. Once tight, then spin down the lockable pieces to get them close-ish to the tight lug nuts. Slap on the lock and you are done. I did cut off approximately 1" of threads on my install to get a more compact fit.

This will not fit a 205/65 10 inch boat trailer spare as the bolts are not long enough. They are long enough to put the nuts on but not the locking arms too. I do like the quality and will use on another trailer with 8" wheels ( 4.80 X 8).

This works well, but the threads can be a little tricky at times. Also, don't expect the 'wings' to align enough for you to simply insert the lock. I had to work it a little and the wings did not meet each other. Nonetheless, this is not a problem as the lock gives you enough room to secure the tire. I'm happy with it and the cost seems reasonable and accessible.
