With this kit, I built a live well for my boat from an old truck toolbox. It has continued to work well over time. My one complaint is that I wish it had a slightly faster flow rate, but for the price, it is a great option.

I have a 1992 19Ft Boston Whaler Outrage. A beautiful boat but not the best fishing boat. I have adapted it for fishing but the dilemma was a lack of a live well...they are double-hulled fiberglass boat so I think having one installed was not a viable. So, I took an old cooler, bought this kit and it solved my problem! I added longer wires so I could attach to my electric trolling motor batteries.You just need to check on it once in a while to assure a rambunctious fish did not cause the suction cups for the spray tube to come off or loosen...no real issue...I may just epoxy the suction cups in place.It worked beautifully for me. I used it for walleye and perch...I did not put pike in it on advice that their slime can plug up the pump....Not sure about that...I will test that theory this weekend.!!

I was expecting less because of the price, but it’s actually a good design and works well. Kept my fish alive all day. That’s all that matters. 👍

Pump works fine.Electrical leads are short. Unless this is going to be mounted within a foot or two of a battery, you’ll need to splice in longer leads. The spray piping is cheesy but does the trick. The suction cup mounts for the spray bar are an absolute joke. Use some 1 hole conduit mounts to screw in place. I’d probably buy again because it was so cheap. Just needs a little customization.

So the bad. The flex hose is very flimsy as its used as a home made live well the fish manage to knock the hose off the pump. SO now after putting it back together a few times it has split at the ends. The good. The few days before it broke it worked awesome. Tons of water flow, kept all 12 fish alive for 6 hours of fishing ( they were Delicious) . bought a much tougher rubber hose and will clamp it together so stop frisky fish from sabotage, also use as bilge to empty boat of water after sitting at dock for a week. For the price and what i use it for worth the cost !!!!

Haven’t tried it yet but it appears exactly as described ,I live in the far north still 4 ft of ice on lakes ,might be able to try it out in about 2 more months lol
