I used this hull fitting to port a 5/8" ID SCAT duct for air ventilation. It's a study fitting, with really smooth threads with nice rounded edges everywhere. I mounted the 5/8 tubing on the barbed intake with a zip tie and that seemed to do the trick. Not sure what plastic was used in manufacturing, but it feels tougher than typical plastic fittings, it should last a long time and stand up to abuse.

I have used a lot of different fittings for doing a cooler chest and I always have issues with the fittings until I seen someone online use this and had to try it. Glad.to have found it because it was easy to install and seals perfectly. Great product.
