I have not been happy the top does not screw on and lock into place. They are poorly made and when you screw them on the top pops off. I was able to get them to work by drilling two holes in the top and attaching the top utilizing zip ties. If that is your goal then they will work fine because they are cheap. The good quality ones are $20 each these are only $10... good luck

This works awesome for extra shrimp and grab pellets added to our bait for crabbing.

These little tubes are tough. They keep the bait around a lot longer than the bait bags you can pick up at WalMart. They get the scent out, and the crabs coming. They also do what they say. I toss my crab pots off of the end of my dock. There is a log boom no more than 15 feet away, that has plenty of seals hanging out on it. At least one of them was able to tear open a mesh bag on my neighbors trap. I have no idea how, but it was able to get ahold of it and tear it open. I have heard of it happening and that is why I went with these in mine.

After losing bait to seals on several trips out this year, we decide to up our game with bait tubes. Though about building some to save a few dollars, but PVC pricing has gotten ridiculously high,, then we found these. Great price, already engineered to fit the hoop nets and clip on easily. Simple to fill and empty. Holes are large enough to allow scent out, but keep bait in. Looking forward to the first use to see if we can avoid feeding the seals again.

After letting seals have their way, this guy came in great! Been catching crabs and keeping seals off the chicken. One time a seal unscrewed it but we may have been careless as well. Great product

Upon looking, the product seemed well built and durable. However, once we tried to secure the tops to the body, they would not screw tight, and the lids literally fell off 2 of the the 3 units. Deciding to give this product the benefit of doubt and another chance, I ordered a 2nd batch of 3, only to find the very same issue, 2 of the 3 containers would not screw the lids to the bodies. Disappointed, I am returning them and do not recommend this product at all.
