The product was fine. It was my mistake in ordering because the length was too short for my boat. When measuring, make sure you account for the winding around the motor!

Nut won’t screw down. Nut works just fine on another thru hull part I have. Would have returned but was waiting for last item on order that came 6 weeks after everything else. I am not ordering a new one and likely won’t go through Amazon again for marine parts.

I have used this product for our other boat, it was a good product... HOWEVER; upon opening this particular package, I tried to straighten the corrugated tubing, it tore open in two different places, making it unusable. I was forced to order ANOTHER MANUFACTURERS product due to this one being of POOR QUALITY! 😔I can't return it, due to opening it one day after it was possible to return it. ☹ I bought it one month before needing it, and discovered that it's a very bad quality and isn't usable.

This hose isn't the toughest but my last one has held up for 7 plus years. Now they will brittle so if u govto replace the pump it can break if bent to much. Great hose for the price. I didn't use the through hull piece mine is black and finished and still good.

The hose broke while I was unrolling it from the box. I don’t imagine new hose should be that brittle. I didn’t need the full 6 feet so luckily it broke at a section close to the end. If you buy this package be sure to allow the hose to come to room temperature before unrolling it. Might even be good to lightly use a heat gun/hair dryer to make it more supple. Everything else worked as it should.

I didnt want to order this due to the standard crappy,thin ribbed flex hose but this hose is AMAZIN. Its much much thicker than normal and still is flexible. the White thru hull fitting also is well made and durable, the only issue I have is the hose clamps. the body is stainless but the bolt is steel, so if used the bolt will rust and if used in salt water then bolt will be a pain to use in a few months.If they replaced the hose clamps with some that are all stainless and give an option for a 90 degree thru hull fitting I would pay $20 for the kit.
