Bought a boat, expected things to need repair, didnt now how far the worm hole was gonna go. Wanted a new steering wheel, wanted to polish gelcoat under the black plastic cover, removed said cover and found the bracket that holds the helm to the console was missing half to rot. Glad I found it in the driveway than ofshore!Looked everywhere for a replacement not knowing what the price was called, put an email out to teleflex affiliate but couldn't wait for reply, quick amazon search and boom.Worked great, fit my application but parts are very universal to many helms of teleflex and alike. And u got a new black plastic cover out of it.

Perfect fit and replacement for the original rusty part. Saltwater is definitely rough on boats.

Although I was replacing my standard helm with a no-feedback type, I read that the original bracket was interchangeable. I decided to buy a new one anyway, and am glad I did. Once I removed the cover from the old helm, I found the original bracket was in really bad shape. Simple replacement!
