Just got done spreading some seeds with this. I didn't try it over a very large area - just some spots that got dry during the winter and had a few too many children running over it and digging up grass underfoot. So this review is based on a limited testing, but so far I like this item pretty well.Biggest problem I had was that the grass seeds I was using (a mix, made for Florida heat) of various sizes would for some reason get clogged in the spinning cam(s) - not sure exactly why - and then there would be slippage or blockage and one time it completely stopped the spinning parts that fling the seeds. This happened more than one time and I wasn't sure if maybe it was a weak battery or a fluke seed bit that was oversize or undersize, but I cleared it quickly and easily with my finger each time.Otherwise I like this seeder very much. It tosses the seeds far and it comes with two batteries so I could have seeded a gigantic area. It's comfortable to hold and the batteries aren't overly heavy. So it's almost a 5-Star item and I think with better charging and better quality seed I won't have the jamming in the future, and even that might have been a fluke. It works well and is well made and has a lot of extras, so I do like it and think it's a pretty good value.
