I recently purchased a 16 channel snake for our church and have now added 4 direct boxes. These work great! Our lead guitarist was overriding our pa system even though we had his amp miked. We now go out of his effects pedal right into the direct box and then have sends to the main and to the amp. No mic and no feedback when he gets close to the amp. The mix is much better and give us much more control. While we haven't had the boxes long, they feel solid and durable. I'm pleased with all the items I've purchased from Siesmic Audio. Lower cost, good quality.
