I got this to mount in our home gym. Comes with the mounding hardware for wood or cement. You can't mount it to just sheet rock. We have a beam placed on the ceiling to secure it to. This is a solid piece of steel, very durable.

This is a first rate hanger for a punching bag. Excellent quality and big enough to hang a large bag. The hanger functions with the bag as expected. Easy to install with the included hardware. Looks good in the workout area. Good value.

This is a solid product, perfect for cable-mounted exercise equipment! I use it for triceps push-downs and lay pull-downs: I have a cable that runs from various attachments up through a pulley that is attached to this hanger, and then down to a weigh plate “loading pin.” The hardware included is solid and is the prefect solution when mounting it to my homemade squat rack (made with 4x4’s).I also love how great these look. They don’t look like some cobbled-together brackets that happen to allow you to hang stuff from it. These are purpose-built and do a great job!

I got my grandson a big punching bag for Christmas but there was no place for him to hang it. Then I saw this and also a listing for the chain that goes with it so I was set. Got both of those items and now he can safely hang his punching bag and wont fear that it's going to just fall right out of the wood.

My daughter has always wanted a hanging papasan chair, but I was never enthusiastic about the idea, as our old place had conventional sheet rock ceilings. No way were anchors going to work, and the rafters were only 2” wide (not even that actually).However, her bedroom in our new house has large exposed beams, so I can use lag bolts to secure this hanger directly into solid wood. Perfect!

I ordered this hanger to use as a gambrel mounting point and not for a heavy bag. That said, the hanger is heavy construction and the included carabiner feels heavyweight and solid. The hanger includes large lag bolts to mount straight to wood or heavy metal anchors for mounting in concrete. Everything about the hanger is solid and it seems like it will hold up well for many years to come. The reason I removed a star is that the packaging for both the product and shipping was poor. The product packaging is an incredible thin cardboard box with the hanger and hardware inside. The hardware was supposed to be contained in an ultrathin plastic bag but it had busted open during shipment and the hardware was loose. This was exacerbated by Amazon's decision to ship this in a padded envelope. With the flimsy box and nothing to protect it by way of external packaging, the box was crushed with visible holes from the lag screws on the exterior. No reservations about the product and it isn't damaged in any way but the packaging choices need to be revisited by the manufacturer and by Amazon.

Very nice and heavy duty bag mount, comes with 2 different mounting options. Ball joint is super smooth and well lubricated built to last many sessions and many years.

This hanger is heavy duty for sure. i used it with a speed bag and everything works as it should. the bag haveno trouble going in any direction and the hanger is well secure to the beam in my basement.
