This self-heating mug is one of the best purchases I ever made. It is larger than other mugs on the market and the perfect size for the large Virtuo pods I make. It feels great on the lips, keeps coffee at the exact temperature Ii want it to for long enough for a slow coffee sipper like me. It is also super easy to clean - just let some water sit in it for a couple minutes and wipeout with a paper towel. One of the best things about it is the superb customer support of the seller. Be sure to register the mug via the card that comes in the box. If you ever have an issue, email them and they respond very quickly and replace the product super fast. Everyone should have a business model like that- I wouldn't think of buying a mug from anyone else. That's how you keep customers coming back. I often wish they made other products too, I'd absolutely buy from them more. Highly recommend!

If you want a high end, cordless hot cup of coffee, this is it. I’ve had another high end wireless electric coffee cup and it doesn’t compare to this mug. Yes, it’s expensive but if you like a cup of coffee that stays at the temp you set it at, look no further.

The size of the mug is great - it holds my 10oz of coffee plus creamer with some room left at the top. The mug isn’t too heavy either. The 3 heat settings are great as well. I keep mine at 135° and it is the right level of hot to drink without burning your mouth. Charging it is very easy, but the only downfall is the battery life. One charge seems to only last for one use, so you just have to be in the habit of charging after each use.

After much research, I decided on the Buuo self heating mug. First, its height matches my Breville Espresso machine perfectly. After a few weeks of using it, I give it an excellent 5-star rating. No frills mug - (why would I need an app to adjust my coffee temp by 1 degree???). Buuo allows for 3 heat settings, 120, 135 and 150. As much as I would prefer to keep my coffee and tea at 150 -- the battery lasts so much longer at 135 - coffee and tea are still very good at 135. Morning coffee and evening tea should be savored and drank slowly -- and the Buuo self heating mug is perfect for this. I love this mug, so I very highly recommended getting a Buuo self heating mug!

Sometimes it charges, sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes the battery lasts long enough for at least a couple of cups of coffee, sometimes it doesn’t. The only way it will get anywhere near max heat is if you put a lid on it. Unless I’m traveling, I would prefer not to use a lid. I would return the cup if I could, but I’ve already destroyed the packaging. I really feel like I wasted my money on this one. I feel like Amazon is becoming more and more of a garage sale of worthless products. I’m changing my approach to buying. This will be the last time I waste money on junk.

After my original review, I received a message from BUUO’s customer service offering a refund and a replacement. The replacement mug works great. It seems the first one was just defective. I am very satisfied with BUUO's customer service and I would buy from them again. Thank you for making it right.**Original Review**It is a great-looking design, but it is definitely not for "brewing," as it claims. It took 60°F room temperature bottled water 55 minutes to heat up to 135°F, and it never reached 150°F, which I had it set at. After 2 hours it is sitting at 141°F. Fully charged, showing a green light, and docked on the charging coaster all this time. I have not used it to keep hot drinks warm, but that may be the only use for this mug. I may be returning if it does not keep up.

I ordered this cup on AmazonUK, but it came with an American plug. This is a wonderful coffee mug, (I have one here in the US), but I ordered one for my son-in-law in England and they sent it without a proper connection. It has a USA plug-in so they cannot use it or it will burn out quickly as it is not made for their system. And now I can not return it.

When I first got this mug in February, it worked great. But within several months it kept the battery charge less and less. I charge it overnight, put hot coffee inside, press piping hot, and with 30 minutes the mug is out of power. Whereas when it was first purchased it would work for over 60 minutes on piping hot. It’s just not durable and that is disappointing.
