For the price a $30 Rico graftonite would do a better job. I find it restricting and difficult to play on the extreme ends of the saxophone. Maybe a beginner might find it useful. But for over 300 dollars!? Buy a yamaha 4C

Magnificent piece. Rich, mellow sound. Nice mouth feel. Moderately steep pitch means lower notes take some work.

One of the best mouthpieces I have ever purchased. The sound is naturally in tune!

This mouthpiece helps give a very rich and blended tone. It makes playing smooth and soft a breeze and is feels very responsive. Understand this is not a jazz mouthpiece as such. The best word to describe the sound is "smooth", great for classical playing or mellow blues type music. Really you want a jazz mouthpiece as well for acheiving louder, edgier sounds. That being said, this mouthpiece is obviously of high quality construction and finish. The piece is absolutely beutiful and highly functional. A joy to play on.

This is a fantastic mouthpiece. I'm surprised that it hasn't received more attention in the tenor community. It is extremely easy to play, has a warm and focused tone, and excellent intonation. It is fantastic for both classical music and mellow jazz. Only caution is that the MPC is very long, so you have push it WAY in on the cork to get in tune and not play flat. Definitely worth a try!
