i get a much clearer sound every time i play. it is very consistent but it does take about a week to get in tune regularly which is normal for any mouthpiece.

I can't believe how drastically my sound has changed with this mouthpiece! It is without a doubt worth the expense. It creates a tone that is great for both jazz and classical music. Combined with a good reed this mouthpiece will improve performance greatly.

I stepped up from a student mouthpiece worth about $13 to this; oh, how I did notice the difference! Until just recently, this was my mouthpiece for the different jazz ensembles and the sax quartet I play in in college (I got a jazz mouthpiece a couple of weeks ago). It's a quality mouthpiece, with a good dark sound (w/ a Rovner ligature). It projects well (or at least has the capacity to; I'm shy on it too often), and it has a colorful range of tones.
