I have had this lock fail twice. The build quality is poor and the lock will twist without needing the key to unlock it.

The key has to stay in the handle when open, not convenient for a garage door. Also hard to lock.

Had to change out my old garage door handle with lock. This one fits fine, I just had to get longer screws to fit. No problem getting them at Home Depot. Yes the key stays in when it's open. I don't see that as a problem since when I close it I know that the key is there. I would recommend this garage handle.

I needed a replacement lock handle for my garage door. Got it in a timely manner. It wasn't a exact fit, because I wasn't sure if the dimensions, but did work. So far so good
