Although the Mini Split AC wasn’t a good fitThe Senville staff are wonderful professionals who provided excellent service with the return. Our plans are to purchase the Senville Central Ducted AC upon approval from LADWP BOSS program.

Although this is very DIY installation, the full warranty does require a licensed installer. This was not terribly expensive and validated everything is perfectly ready for lasting comfort.

I'm writing this review out of sheer frustration and to urgently warn potential buyers about Senville's so-called 'DIY-friendly' products. My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I implore you to read this before making a decision you might regret.I bought a Senville outdoor unit, lured in by their promises of easy DIY installation. But when the unit arrived DOA (Dead On Arrival), my troubles began. Expecting a straightforward customer service experience, I was shocked at the response from Senville. They flat-out refused to replace the defective unit without a warranty certificate from a licensed HVAC technician. This requirement completely contradicts their DIY claims and left me in a bind as a regular homeowner without immediate access to professional HVAC services.Reluctantly, I purchased another unit, hoping my initial experience was just a fluke. But to my dismay, the second unit also arrived DOA, albeit with a different issue. It became painfully clear that Senville's quality control is virtually non-existent.Throughout this ordeal, I've tried reasoning with Senville's support team, suggesting alternatives like having their technician inspect the unit. All my efforts hit a dead end. Their rigid policy on warranty documents, which were beyond my capacity to provide, left me with two faulty products and a significant financial loss. This experience has been a huge eye-opener. For anyone considering Senville for their HVAC needs, especially if you're banking on their DIY-friendliness, I urge you to reconsider. Unless you have an HVAC technician ready to assist, you're likely stepping into a risky and costly trap. Please, take this warning seriously. Don't get caught in the same situation I did. Senville's approach to customer service and their apparent lack of quality control can leave you frustrated and out of pocket.
