We moved into a house with a septic tank system. When it came time for us to clean the septic tanks we had no idea where they were located. We went to the county for a copy of their land records, and determined where the tanks should be, yet when we dug in that area there was nothing there. Over the course of a couple of weeks we used a backhoe to nearly destroy our front yard looking for the missing septic tanks. We broke sprinkler lines and tore up grass that could have been avoided if someone would have marked where the septic tanks were located. When the septic tanks were finally located, I went to Amazon and purchased two of these SurePoint Septic Tank Markers, so that we never have to wonder where are septic tanks are, the next time we need to have them pumped out. These markers are easy to install and are an absolute time saver, because you will always know where the septic tanks are located.

Who knows exactly where their septic tank and drain field is located??? We put in a new septic and I used these to make it so that I would know EXACTLY where the corner, clean out and drain field is. Yes, these are expensive, but they are very well made and they are super easy to install. I really like this product!

It's fine for what it is, but WAY over priced. It's basically a garden stake with a metal washer on it. Worth maybe $3-4 dollars.

Product appears bigger (flat portion above ground) than it actually is. Same size as the lid on a 15 oz jar of Chez Whiz. As long as you know the general area of your septic tank, the marker should be easy to find in high grass. Other than the size, good sturdy marker
