This baby photo album is adorable! The woodland animals design is so cute, and it really adds a sweet, soft touch to the memories it holds. As a new mom, I love how easy it is to organize and preserve the precious moments from my baby girl’s first year. The pages hold 4x6 pictures perfectly, and the soft cover is great for little hands, making it safe for baby to touch and explore (though I keep it out of her reach for now). The album isn’t too bulky, which makes it a great size for storing memories without taking up too much space on a shelf. The pages are sturdy enough to hold the photos, and there’s space for me to add little notes about each moment. It’s a great way to keep a timeline of those early milestones, and I can definitely see it becoming a cherished keepsake as she grows. Overall, it’s a great baby shower gift, and I’m really happy with it for our first-year memories.

When it comes to babies, we need to be more critical of items in their environment. Everything goes into their mouths. The deal breaker for me is the fraying material trim (see pictures). Given that this flaw was seen in both books, I assume that this is their standard quality control, not simply a damaged item. I've used these before with babies, but the covers were sealed plastic and allowed for multiple cleanings after "use." I question if these would hold up given the current fraying. The mirror inside the books is not very useful; a shiny object for the baby at most. The books will hold large photos and having a baby page through them approximates reading a book, which is why I like the concept of these. But that edge fraying is a deal breaker for me. Why risk it?
